McDougall has written a very nice script that allows the observer to set up
dither patterns designed for both point sources observations (small offsets)
and extended source observations (large offsets). NOTE: The dither script does NOT
“communicate” with IRTOOL! YOU must be
the communications link between the two by using IRTOOL to expose and the
dither GUI to move the telescope.
