The WIYN SSC

The SSC is the Scientific Steering Committee of WIYN. In consultation with the Executive Director, the SSC develops strategic goals for the observatory; makes decisions regarding instrumentation development; and sets policies regarding operational strategies, time assignment and issues affecting scientific performance.
