ODI 5x5 Upgrade News - January 29, 2015

Good News Everyone! The upgraded ODI focal plane was recently assembled at the University of Arizona's Imaging Technology Laboratory by David Ouellette, Yvonne Holguin, and Michael Lesser. New detectors with improved low light performance are expanding the previous, smaller focal plane of pODI. The scientifically useful field of view is growing from 24' x 24' to approximately 40' x 48' on sky. The upgraded focal plane will be installed in the ODI dewar in February.
